Description
...On this night, Anna had a terrible dream. She dreamt that the citizens had all transformed into demonic creatures, black-faced and soulless, lacking even features, only twisted limbs and empty eyes. She was atop the Royal City, manipulated at will by defiled flesh tentacles, manipulated at will by defiled flesh tentacles. A strange, indescribable sensation spread through her, coursing through every nerve like electricity, making her tremble uncontrollably. She felt a dizzying sensation, as if her soul had detached from her body, floating in the air, watching it all unfold. She wanted to struggle, to resist, but was powerless to move, only able to allow this force to consume her. It was a feeling that was both terrifying and confusing, making her feel ashamed and bewildered.
Every pore on her body was breached, filled, and torn. Along with the physical pain, an inexplicable pleasure surged through her, like a blossoming poppy, beautiful and dangerous. She felt a shudder, as if something deep inside her had shattered, and something new was growing again. This feeling frightened her, yet she could not resist it. A black mage stood behind her, whispering in her ear with a familiar voice: "Your Majesty, this is all my masterpiece!" That voice! "Karon!" She screamed and woke up from the dream.
Her heart was pounding wildly, and cold sweat soaked her pajamas. Anna looked around in horror, finding herself in her familiar bedroom, the sky outside the window just beginning to turn pale. She breathed shakily, trying to calm herself down. It was just a dream, she kept telling herself, but the fear and despair in the dream were so real, lingering in her mind.
The whispers and the tentacular invasion in the dream made her feel nauseous. She could endure Karon's humiliation, even, in a twisted psychological way, admitting that she felt a strange pleasure and anticipation from it. However, the sight of the Royal City's citizens turning into demonic creatures in the dream was unacceptable to her. Those citizens who had once lived and worked in peace under her rule were now hideous monsters, which filled her with deep fear and guilt. She tried to recall, wanting to identify the owner of the voice, but to no avail. Could it be Karon? The thought flashed through her mind, but she dismissed it, as Karon's goal in the past was only to humiliate her. She hadn't seen the black mage's appearance in the dream, it would be too hasty to conclude that it was Karon based solely on the voice.
But, if it wasn't Karon, then who could it be? Who would be so vile as to even want to destroy the entire kingdom? The sight of the Royal City's citizens turning into demonic creatures in the dream made her feel even deeper fear and unease.
She got out of bed, walked to the window, opened it, and took a deep breath of the morning air. The cool air calmed her down a little. She looked at the gradually awakening city outside the window, at the busy figures, and a strong sense of protection rose in her heart. She couldn't let the scene in the dream become reality, she had to protect her people, protect her kingdom.
This dream was not just a nightmare, but more like a warning, a prophecy. It made her realize that a huge conspiracy might be brewing, and she must find the mastermind behind it as soon as possible to prevent this disaster from happening.
